AHEAD INITIATIVES

Ahead Initiatives’ staff consists of several experienced people who have been active in the field of rural development for many years in other NGOs. Ahead is led by a board of directors and the day-to-day management lies in the hands of Rathnadeep De.

Ahead has both individual members and collaborates with local civil society organizations spread across the country. The latter play an important role, as they are largely responsible for putting the project activities into practice in their respective local areas. This is done in close cooperation and under the supervision of Ahead’s employees. You can find Ahead’s website here.

One of the employees, who has played a particularly important role in developing Ahead’s expertise in terms of cultivation methods is Himanchu, who can be seen in the photo explaining villagers about composting.
